1. Scope of Work
​
MCS By Marc provides mechanical services including diagnostics, general repairs, clutch replacements, engine overhauls, brake services, OBD fault finding, and towing. We service cars, motorbikes, trucks, trailers, and forklifts. We do not offer wheel alignment services.

2. Quotes & Estimates
​
All quotes are estimates based on an initial visual or technical assessment. Final costs may change upon deeper inspection and will be communicated prior to further work.
​
3. Parts Supply
​
Unless agreed otherwise, all parts used are supplied by MCS By Marc. Clients who choose to supply their own parts do so at their own risk. No guarantees or warranties will be offered on client-supplied parts.

4. Payment Terms
​

Payment is due in full upon job completion, before the release of the vehicle.

Preferred payment method is EFT (Proof of Payment required). We also accept cash and card.

No vehicle will be released until full payment has been made.

We are not VAT registered at this time.

No storage fees are charged if a vehicle is collected within 3 days or with prior arrangement.

5. Warranty & Guarantees

A workmanship warranty is provided only when MCS By Marc supplies the parts.

Warranty duration depends on the part manufacturer's terms.

No warranties apply to customer-supplied parts.

Any service guarantees, including same-day repairs, are subject to availability and scope of the repair.

6. Liability

MCS By Marc will take full responsibility for any damage caused to the vehicle while in our care.

We do not accept liability for theft, vandalism, or acts of God while the vehicle is on our premises.

Customers are required to sign an indemnity form upon vehicle drop-off, acknowledging these terms.

7. Towing & Callouts

We offer towing and roadside assistance.

Pricing depends on distance, time, labour, and fuel.

In certain cases, a third-party flatbed service may be arranged (especially for automatic vehicles).

Callout charges apply and will be confirmed based on location.

8. Booking, Cancellation & No-Shows
​

Bookings must be made via WhatsApp.

If a client cancels after an inspection or collection has occurred, they may be charged for labour and/or callout fees.

No additional penalties for no-shows or cancellations made in time.
​
9. Client Data
​

We collect and store client data including vehicle details and service history for operational purposes.

This information is managed privately and not shared without consent.

10. Dispute Resolution
​

We aim to resolve all issues amicably and directly.

If a dispute arises, the matter will first be addressed informally.

If unresolved, the matter will proceed to legal resolution under the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Governing Law
​
These Terms & Conditions are governed by South African law. Any legal disputes will be handled within the relevant jurisdiction.
